Why is there a watermark on the images before I download them?

If you're seeing words superimposed on your images, don't worry, they go away when you hit download.

Many of you have asked "what's up with those words all over of my images?"

It's called a watermark, and it helps to ensure that:

  1. You can review the images before you download them, to make sure everything looks amazing!
  2. A client can't take a screenshot of the images, and try to use them without paying their Creator. (We know you'd never do that, but you'd be surprised how many people try! 😕)

If you've reviewed your images and have comments, or feel that edits are needed, message your Creator directly on The Hub. When the edits are complete, they'll re-upload the images to The Hub and you'll be able to preview them again before downloading.

Keep in mind, your photographer gets paid as soon as you hit "download." So make sure to review your images and message them about any edits needed BEFORE you download the final files.
