How do I get paid for jobs on The Hub?

The H Hub makes getting paid fast and easy!

We built The Hub to make it easy for amazing photographers, models, stylists and videographers to find great brands to work with. We know that getting paid for that work can sometimes be a challenge - the time and hassle takes you away from what you really want to be doing...creating great content! 🙌

The Hub makes getting paid for your work easy and secure, ensuring that when you deliver awesome content to a happy client, you get paid...and paid fast!

How it works:

• When a client selects your bid as the winner, they'll send you a contract.  📜 

• When you agree with the terms, approve the contract. As soon as you approve, we bill the client for the agreed-to amount and hold the funds on your behalf, until the project is complete. 💰
• When the content is ready and looking AWESOME (we know it will!) upload the assets directly on The Hub. 📷

• When the client is happy with the work, they'll download the files on The Hub. As soon as they hit "Download" we start a fund transfer to you! Funds can take up to 2-3 business days to arrive in your account (standard banking process) but often will arrive even faster.💸
  
  

Why it works and protects everyone involved:

• Payment is held and waiting for you:  when the contract is accepted, we immediately put funds "in escrow" - this means we're holding the $$$ for you before you do the work. You can shoot with confidence knowing that when you handover great work, you'll get paid! And there's never any time wasted chasing invoices (or worse, clients who don't pay!) 
• You get paid FAST: because funds are already held and waiting, the transfer of payment can be triggered automatically. No waiting for someone in the Finance Department to "get around" to paying your invoice, or dealing with long client-mandated payment terms (up to 3 months is not uncommon these days.)
• You get instant proof of payment for your records:  our system automatically sends you an email alert that your assets were downloaded, and that payment is on its way! That email also has all of the key information you should need for bookkeeping purposes:  the name of the project, the amount paid & the date it was paid, all in an official communication from H.
• One consolidated 1099 form for your taxes: if you make more than $600 a year on The Hub, you're required to pay taxes. Instead of getting separate tax documents from every client you worked with, you'll get a single, consolidated 1099 form from H. This should make it much easier come tax season - one form instead of a pile of documents; no chasing down missing 1099s from clients; one entry on your taxes.
